Without the support structure available in places like New York, Paris and Milan, it can be a steep uphill battle for Canada's fashion talent to realize their dreams. But in 1998, Michelle Planche had a vision to change that.
The Art of Fashion Foundation is a non-profit organization created
to support and raise funds for Canada's fashion design entrepreneurs. Committed to giving back, the Foundation
also donates funds raised through donation as well as event proceeds to a worthy charity.
