Fashion is currently seeking
talented Canadian designers
to participate in the annual
fashion exhibit & design
competition. As part of the
competition, the Art of
Fashion challenges designers
to interpret and bring to
life their expression of the
2008 artistic theme,
“Between the Lines”.

"Between the Lines" can be interpreted as the
divide between good and evil, black and white, heaven and hell, dusk and dawn,
or even an everyday juxtaposition. It is an exploration that unites cultural, historical,
and community boundaries. It is the elements that have helped shape one’s own life and the way
it ties lives together, bringing life from the past, to the present and into the future.

Welcome to Art of Fashion! Currently entering its 10th year of production, we
anticipate that 2008 will be a year of new beginnings and projects, as well as a chance to further expand our programs. We are thrilled to announce that Art of Fashion will once again be a part of Scotiabank Nuit Blanche, Toronto's exclusive all-night showcase of contemporary art.
Scotiabank Nuit Blanche is on
Saturday, October 4, 2008 from 6:52pm
until sunrise. This exhilarating event will give designers ultimate public exposure- last year, we had thousands of people walk through our exhibit and anticipate the same momentum for 2008, if not, even better!

Art of Fashion is holding a two-part
event showcase using Scotiabank Nuit
Blanche as an art exhibit to display our
10 chosen designers collections. To
follow, our annual Trunk Show is an
opportunity for designers to sell their
collections and engage in networking
opportunities.
